Yes, you may switch your registration from the 10K to the Half (or vice versa). This is self-administering (runners make the changes themselves). To do this, please log in to RunSignup.com using the account you used to register for the race. Here’s a tutorial from RunSignUp.com.
No, you may NOT cancel your registration for a refund if you can't race. Your race registration is non-transferable to other runner. And you cannot defer to next year. Read more.

The courses are on open roads with vehicular traffic.
We expect runners to complete the half marathon within 2 hours and 45 minutes. At 10:15 AM, police will no longer be monitoring intersections, and all remaining runners on the course will need to complete their running on sidewalks.
Volunteers and course marshals will cease their duties at 11 AM.
If you do not believe you can finish the course in 2 hours and 45 minutes, we encourage you to sign up for the 10-K.
If you have signed up for the half marathon and have changed your mind about the distance, you can transfer your registration to the 10K, without extra charge, as described below.

The race is open to all, but there are age limits:
Half Marathon runners must be 13 years old at the time of the race.
No age requirement for the 10K but children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.

Generally, free parking is available at Pelham Metro-North Station commuter lots and the streets and avenues south of it; to Pelham Middle and High Schools. Click here for details on Parking page.

If traveling from NYC to Pelham, we suggest you consider the Metro North RR from Grand Central Terminal or 125th Street Station.
You'll take the Stamford line, Harlem > Fordham > Mt. Vernon East > Pelham. Walk under the RR overpass, and you'll see the race start at 20 Fifth Avenue Pelham
You can check the Metro North schedule here. Please make sure to enter November 25th as the date on this form. Note: MNRR may be running on a HOLIDAY SCHEDULE.

There will be baggage drop at the start/finish line, in Daronco Town House.

Porta potties will be available at the start/finish in the parking lot behind the Daronco townhouse (at the intersection of Harmon Place and Harmon Avenue).
Porta potties will be near Mile 4 on Country Club Drive on the Half Marathon course. Restrooms will also be open at Mile 6 in Shore Park and Mile 9 at The Manor Club.

Medals are provided for all half marathon and 10K finishers.
Cash prizes are awarded for top three overall male/female half marathon finishers ($100, $75, and $25)
Age group awards are given to the top three male/female finishers for both the half marathon and 10K in the following age group categories:
19 and under, 20 - 24, 25 - 29, 30 - 34, 35 - 39, 40 - 44, 45 - 49, 50 - 54, 55 - 59, 60 - 64, 65 - 69, 70+

There will be six water stations on the half marathon course at approximately two-mile intervals.

Dogs - although we personally love them and think everyone should run with a dog, we can't accommodate dogs on the courses.
Jogger strollers, e-scooters, roller blades, and other wheeled devices are also not allowed.
